I've been a little hesitant to post pictures of me and the family. You see, alot of my friends and family like to visit the same blogs as me. Because of that, I am sure that eventually they will happen across my blog. The problem with that you ask....I wanted to be a silent blogger. I share EVERY thing with my friends and family and just wanted to blog for me. I wanted a private outlet for me. Does this seem selfish or just crazy? How many of you are "silent bloggers"? Anyway, here it goes...we'll see how long it takes for some one to find me.

This is my 13 year old daughter (she'll be 14 in Dec....wow!).

And this is the hubby.....he's one terrific man.

Okay, I told you we went on vacation a few weeks ago. Because, I always forget my camera I don't have a ton of pics but, here are a few.

Keep in mind that I am not a good photographer....My 13 1/2 year old daughter enjoyed reading on the beach (of course attached to the ipod) and my hubby, watching the storm brewing in the distance. We also had lunch one afternoon at Pineapple Willy's.

We did alot of other stuff and I have more pics but, I won't bore you. We had a really nice vacation and I hated leaving the beach. I should really live closer to the beach. I keep telling my husband that.

Home again...

We just arrived home from the beach. I wish we lived closer so that we could go more often. Although, I was ready to get home to my bed, my shower, my house...I was so sad to leave the beach. I can't tell you how much I LOVE THE BEACH! I love that rotten beach smell, the damp salty air, evening walks on the beach, the sound of the waves crashing, and the people watching. I love to watch people...I admitt it. It just reassures me that I am normal.

Now that we are home....It's time to get busy again. I have 3 weeks to get every thing I want done before going back to work. The summer breaks seem to go by so quickly. I will try and take some before and after pics of the little projects we have going on around the house. I will also, try and add some personal pics of the family. You want to know who you are reading about....right?

Thanks again to Autumn, for sharing her pool pictures. You gave me some good ideas!

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Nice to meet you

Hi fellow Bloggers,

This is my first post and I'm a little nervous. I guess I should start by introducing myself. I'm a wife to wonderful man and mother to one great 13 year old. I was born and raised here in Georgia and have a big family...I'm one of 7....yes you read it correctly 7. My husband is one of 6. Go ahead you can say it....WOW. Needless to say when we all get together it is LOUD and crowded.

I like to say my life is a work in progress. Every aspect of my life is a...work in progress. My marriage, raising a smart, responsible, independent child, my home and all its never ending projects....I could go on but, you get the idea. I guess, really, all of our lives are a constant work in progress.

As of now I'm not sure how often I'll post. I guess it depends on what happens in my day to day life. Let me warn you now, it's a bit boring.

I'll say good-bye for now and hope to hear from you all soon. It was nice to meet you!
